As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a pivotal role on the sales team. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, qualifying, and closing deals with key strategic enterprise accounts. In many cases, strategic accounts will be market leading partners in their space, key enablers of our go to market strategy. You will develop relationships with decision makers, influencers and champions in your accounts to establish an in-depth understanding of their organization, the problems they are solving for and develop relevant phased approaches from initial pilots toward large scale adoption. You will provide insights and perspective to VP and C-Suite executives to validate and refine our go to market strategy.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience managing enterprise sales and partnerships
SaaS and innovative technology selling experience
Experience in the IoT, data and/or cloud space – asset tracking a plus (indoor or outdoor)
Ability to learn, digest and articulate complex technologies in simple terms
Flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity - startup experience a plus
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience working with remote teams
Minimum of 2 years experience prospecting
Familiarity with Salesforce (or similar CRM systems) as well as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other prospecting applications a strong plus
Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual able to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful articulation of our product capabilities
Excellent time management/organizational skills

Responsibilities:
Engage in intent-based outbound prospecting to spark relationships with potential Wiliot customers aligned to our Ideal Customer Profile.
Generate fully qualified new business opportunities and handle the warm handoff of these accounts to our enterprise sales team.
Efficiently respond and qualify inbound marketing leads
Research and expand both new and existing accounts (i.e. adding/vetting contacts, building out buying teams)
BANT qualify net new prospective accounts
Represent and evangelize Wiliot solutions to our customer base
Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas of new introductory meetings and qualified opportunities
