The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to build and own the sales function in a company with a market-validated product. You will be the driving force of our expansion, with the autonomy to shape our sales strategy, and the support of a highly experienced technical team. For the right person, this role offers a clear path to building and leading a global sales organization.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior, hands-on Sales Manager & Business Development professional to lead and scale our B2B sales efforts, focused on selling a modular trading technology platform that allows financial institutions to introduce, price, and manage a broad range of option trading products, including short-dated, vanilla, structured, and spread options.
This is a senior, revenue-driving role with full ownership of the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from go-to-market strategy and pipeline generation to deal execution, closing, and long-term growth.
The role offers significant ownership and influence over how the product is positioned, priced, and sold globally.
You will work directly with C-level decision-makers at brokerage firms, introducing a proven trading product.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and demonstrate significant progress within the first six months.
- Develop and begin executing a go-to-market strategy for our target markets.
- Own and lead the end-to-end B2B sales process: prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Build and execute the sales and business development strategy for defined target markets.
- Build a qualified pipeline of potential clients.
- Engage directly with stakeholders at brokerage firms.
- Drive new revenue through flexible commercial models.
- Develop and refine sales materials, value propositions, and pricing structures.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and Management to align sales with product capabilities.
- Represent the company in industry events, meetings, and conferences.
- Help establish distribution channels, partnerships, resellers, or regional representatives.
Requirements
- Direct experience selling trading platforms or similar complex financial products from a direct competitor is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in B2B sales within FinTech, Trading, or Capital Markets.
- Strong track record selling complex or regulated products to brokers or financial institutions.
- Experience selling to C-level decision-makers.
- Background in brokerage environments, trading platforms and derivatives / options products.
- Ability to manage medium-length sales cycles (from several weeks to a few months).
- Solid understanding of commercial models such as licensing, white-label solutions, SaaS, and transaction-based pricing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Highly independent, entrepreneurial, and comfortable building and improving sales structures.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in trading.
- Existing network within brokerage firms in Asia and \ or MENA.
- Experience building or scaling a sales team (future potential).
