Junior IT Engineer

Junior IT Engineers help manage organizations’ computer systems, including software, hardware and networks both cloud-based and local. They may be responsible for setting up new workspaces, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, helping users with technical issues or assisting Senior Engineers with their tasks.

What you will do :

• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Monitor and help maintain computer systems and networks
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
• Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
• Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
• Test and evaluate new technology
  
  

• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
• Experience with Microsoft365 services and their management
• Knowledge of basic security protocols and networking infrastructures
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (eg. Jira)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
