NeoManna is a young agribiotech company, dedicated to the development, production and selling of next-generation natural antimicrobial products for the global animal health industry, currently representing $9.5 Billion in sales (2022). The following market sectors are included in animal health: Livestock, Ruminants, Aquaculture and Companion Animals.
As an outcome of escalating Anti Microbial Resistance (AMR), an array of antibiotics and other synthetic animal health products are in the process of global withdrawal from the animal health market. With the current absence of potent alternatives, there is a formidable opportunity for newcomers into this market to capture significant portions of this critical-to-humanity market segment.
NeoManna develops an array of antimicrobial product families, currently based on potent antimicrobial ingredients and molecules from the Black Soldier Fly (BSF). The 1st products family – NeoMAG™ - is an antibiotics-replacement solution based on BSF oil. This products family is already registered in the EU and in Israel, and first sales in Israel had already begun. The 2nd product family – NeoPRO™ - is an anti-inflammatory solution in advanced R&D phases based on BSF protein. A 3rd products family – code-named NeoXYZ™ - is a game-changing antimicrobial solution of animal health problems with no effective solutions as of today.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE
NeoManna is in the process of transitioning from a pure R&D company into commercial operations on a global basis. As a strategic decision, NeoManna maintains R&D operations internally and manufactures its products exclusively through CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations), currently in the EU, and at a later stage, in additional regions of the world. At this stage, key corporate functions: business development, marketing, sales (through distributors), product management, operations, etc., have not been established yet at the level required to support rapid global expansion of sales, as the company’s 7-year strategic plan expects. Your role will be to execute the company’s strategy via building the human and operational infrastructures, required to effectively and successfully meet shareholders and board expectations. You will report directly to the CEO/Chairman of the holding company.
The ideal candidate is an energetic, internally motivated, go-getter, creative thinker, and a great communicator who brings a demonstrated ability to build and grow successful teams and organizations under a well-defined “Corporate DNA”. In addition, you shall bring a demonstrated ability to perform the various tasks and responsibilities listed below.
- Identify key new territories, where registration of portfolio and pipeline products is technical and minimal.
- Identify, map and qualify key integrations, including tier-2 and tier-2 integrations (the natural targets/partners for NeoManna’s initial market entry)
- Identify, map and qualify potential distributors in the target territories: Livestock, Ruminants, Aquaculture and Companion animals
- Build a network of distributors in key product verticals, establish and follow through on sales plans
- Prospect, build a pipeline, move opportunities through the sales cycle
- Set short- and medium-term channel strategies with strategic partners (customers and distributors).
- Build, guide and monitor the company’s product management human and technical infrastructures
- Manage and monitor controlled experiments and field trials, recommend product family/ies’ enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential
- Build a network of dealers in key production areas, establish and follow through on sales plans
- Develop, guide and monitor the operations, third-party manufacturing and logistics capabilities of NeoManna
- Work closely with regulatory consultants and authorities per target territory to promote (where required) rapid product registrations
- Lead, guided and supervised the company’s product R&D activities

QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 10 years of managerial experience in the animal health/animal nutrition space
- Experience in both big corporate and startups
- Bachelor or master's degree within the animal health/animal nutrition space; MBA is an advantage
- Successful international experience in working with multinationals as strategic partners
- Successful track record in working with CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations)
- Proven track record in establishing an international distributors network in animal health/animal nutrition
- Achievement of closing deals of varying sales cycles each quarter
- Experience/knowledge with either one of the Companion animals market; or; the meat-producing animals market (e.g. Livestock, Aquaculture and Ruminants)
- Proactive work style with strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills and an ability to multitask and prioritize job requirements
Residence: Israel only
Offices/Lab location: Weizmann Science Park, Rehovot / Ness Tziona
Travel: 25% - 33% of your time will involve international traveling
