Data Analyst- Security group

monday.com is looking for an experienced Data Analyst for the Security group with high technical skills, analytical background, and passion for data who can design, implement & scale our next generation of security data solutions. This is an opportunity to join us in a very exciting phase of enhancing our overall security. You’ll join the security group based in our headquarters, in Tel Aviv, Israel. Our mission is to identify, monitor, and take action against any suspicion of anomaly, data leakage, penetration attempts, or abuse. We use many tools, to write code, queries, and deploy services. We have it all: complex queries, python, node, rule engines, and AI. Our data source includes live feeds, logs, infra metrics, BI data, and more. We face a huge challenge in scale, diversity of sources, domains, customers, and usages, and our target is to enhance our monitoring, risk analysis, and mitigations. We are looking for a “full stack” Ninja data analyst, a strong player that will be able to take us one step forward, from processing the data, through analytical, insights, alerts, and mitigations.

About The Role

• Responsible for identifying and taking action against any suspicion of anomaly, data leakage, penetration attempts, or abuse.
• Utilizing various tools, writing code, queries, and deploying services, including complex queries, python, rule engines, and AI. Data sources include logs, cloud data, BI data, audit logs, and platform databases.
• The challenge lies in the complexity, scale, and diversity of sources, domains, customers, and usages, with the goal of enhancing monitoring, and mitigations.
• Excelling in processing data, providing analytical insights, generating alerts, and implementing mitigations.
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a data analyst in non-academic settings; demonstrated record of impactful data analysis projects.
• Excellent SQL skills
• Experience with Python, specifically classic data packages (pandas, NumPy, seaborne/Plotly)
• High-tech experience- Must
• Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at different company levels
• Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to be independent, self-learner with a good sense of curiosity
• Excellent team player
• Strong attention to details
