We are looking for an expert Test Engineer with leadership capabilities and problem-solving skills. Passion for quality and automation, ability to understand complex systems, and a desire for continual improvement and innovation. In this role, you will lead CI/CD in end-to-end system environments, integration, and validation activities, including setup, bring-up, and debugging.
As an Access Cellular Test Engineer, you will work with various stakeholders in the system, PHY stack development, and QA across multiple geographical locations.
The position requires knowledge of network and cellular technology as well as automation.
What you'll do:
Lead CI/CD activities for your domain while supporting the deployment and management automation, version controls, and related continuous integration, delivery, and management processes.
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
Debug and analysis of issues found, then manage them throughout the bug life cycle
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
Define and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

7+ years of relevant professional experience.in QA/Validation of CI/CD environments or functional testing
Experience with LAN/WAN, routing protocols, TCP/IP, QoS, Tunneling and security protocols.
Good understanding of Cellular technology: UMTS/LTE/GSM/5G air interface concepts, calls flows, RRM, RRC, RLC, MAC, RANAP, S1AP, NAS protocols are a plus.
Good understanding of 3GPP standards.
Knowledge of scripting languages from Python - Advantage
Networking knowledge CCNA/CCNP Advantage
Highly motivated self-starter, able to work in a collaborative environment with cross-organizational teams
Problem-solving and creativity.
Education:
Bachelors (B.E/B.Tech) or Masters degree (M.E. or M.Tech.) in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent training, education and experience.
