In this position you will…

As an Experienced QA Engineer, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS platform, with a strong focus on AI-driven testing and automation.

As part of our Platform Group, you will work closely with Product, Development, Design, and QA to quickly understand complex business flows, identify risks, and translate requirements into effective test scenarios.

You will use AI tools and automation as your primary testing approach to analyze requirements, generate and validate test scenarios, investigate issues, and improve test coverage and efficiency. Manual testing will remain part of the role when human judgment, exploratory testing, or business validation is needed.

You will learn BOLT’s platform and business domain and take ownership of quality by connecting technical behavior with business impact.

You will be responsible for…

• Own quality throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements and design through release.
• Quickly understand complex business flows, rules, integrations, and risks, and translate them into effective test strategies and scenarios.
• Use AI-driven testing as the primary approach to analyze requirements, generate and validate test scenarios, create test data, support automation, and improve test coverage.
• Contribute to and maintain automated tests, QA agents, tools, and reusable AI-assisted testing workflows.
• Perform API, integration, data, and end-to-end validation, focusing on critical business flows and system behavior.
• Use manual and exploratory testing selectively where human judgment, business validation, or deeper investigation is required.
• Investigate defects and failures using AI, logs, API responses, data, and other available diagnostic tools to help identify root causes and business impact.
• Clearly communicate quality risks, test results, defects, and recommendations to Product, Development, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously improve our QA processes, automation, AI capabilities, and testing methodologies to increase quality, coverage, and efficiency.

You will require the following qualifications and skills

• 2+ years of hands-on QA experience with SaaS, web, or other complex software products.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including risk-based, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Proven ability to quickly understand complex business flows, rules, and integrations and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Strong hands-on experience using AI as part of the QA workflow, including creating AI agents, agentic workflows, and AI-powered testing solutions to automate testing scenarios and improve quality and efficiency.
• Ability to use AI for requirements analysis, test design, test generation, automation, test data creation, and issue investigation.
• Ability to critically review and validate AI-generated outputs, provide the right context, identify gaps, and continuously improve AI-driven workflows.
• Practical knowledge of databases and data structures, such as SQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies, for data validation and issue investigation.
• Experience with test automation using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.s
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect technical behavior with business impact.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.
