The Travel- Tech Account Manager is responsible for B2B integrations with hospitality services suppliers (chains, bedbanks, platforms, etc) as well as managing their business-as-usual connectivity projects at technical level. In addition to proactive supplier and relationship management, you will serve as an escalation point for issues that impact the supplier success by effectively fielding and working closely with the engineering and commercial teams to resolve cases or proactively identify improvements, optimizing their feeds.
The role combines technical background with analytics and business implications, working on implementing new solutions / defining technical requirements / improvements along to IT / Product Management / Commercial teams / Suppliers.
What you will do:
Daily communication with suppliers regarding technical and business performance
Identifying flaws in the API integrations and proposing solutions to improve performance
Analysing production trends of suppliers and proposing initiatives for growth
Monitoring booking errors (Rejections) in real time and taking swift appropriate action
Monitoring technical KPIs in real time
Following up on ongoing projects and new developments for specific providers
Conducting regular calls with suppliers to review tech/sales performance and following up on strategies set with the reporting manager
Identifying, reporting, and overseeing the resolution of any connectivity issues (either internal or with the supplier system)
Performing monthly cross-checks with suppliers to ensure the product is mapped according to the latest business needs and disabling properties that are no longer relevant for searches
Taking action and developing projects specific to each supplier.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the travel industry, in technical account management
Experience with defining product / technical requirements based on business inputs
Experience monitoring/interpreting metrics, step back, connect the dots and proactively take actions upon
Experience analyzing data and extracting conclusions and actions from it
Monitor and report key performance metrics that reflect supplier operational status and turnover
Investigate and propose to the Product Team potential improvements or upgrades in the supplier connectivity, gathering requirements and supporting the business case/tests definition
Manage & Optimize each account assigned tunning the technical setups, allowing to distribute the right product reaching highest possible accuracy
Keep technical information about supplier connectivities well documented/up to date
Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
