Controller | Alternative Investments & Funds

A leading financial organization is looking for a Controller to join its Finance team and take a key role in the financial management of companies and alternative investment funds.

This is a broad and hands-on position offering exposure to a diverse range of alternative investment activities, including funds operating across areas such as private credit, real estate, infrastructure and other financial strategies.

The role combines financial reporting, accounting, controls and ongoing work with fund managers, trustees, auditors and tax authorities — making it an excellent opportunity for a CPA looking to build deep expertise in the financial services and alternative investments industry.

What You'll Do

• Take responsibility for the financial activities of a portfolio of companies and investment funds
• Work closely with alternative fund managers, trustees, external auditors and tax authorities
• Prepare financial and regulatory reports for investment funds
• Oversee the accounting activities of several companies within the group
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Perform monthly controls, reconciliations and analytical reviews
• Support tax-related reporting and ongoing financial processes
• Take part in cross-functional projects within the Finance department
• Work closely with senior finance professionals and multiple stakeholders across the organization

What We're Looking For

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required
• Big 4 internship – mandatory
• At least 3 years of post-internship experience in a financial services organization or large company
• Strong accounting and financial reporting skills
• Experience working with financial statements
• Good English, including strong verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with international tax matters – an advantage
