Executive Assistant (part-time, freelance, remote-friendly, Israel hours)

Every project has a last 20%: the link that gets checked, the invoice that gets chased, the reply that goes out today and not Thursday. Most people leave it. You live there. Done is done.

I am a rabbi and educator, 36 years in Jewish education, running a nonprofit with two products: Mishna Sdura, the structured Mishna method used in Israel and the US, and Shanenli, a speech-recognition platform building Hebrew reading fluency in day schools.

My direction arrives messy: a recorded phone call, a slew of WhatsApp messages, three inboxes. You turn that into a finished artifact. A sent newsletter. A shipped bulk order. A teacher whose sign-in problem is solved. A one-page memo with the decision only I can make.

Hebrew and English, spoken and written, very good to excellent. No typos, in either language. A donor in Teaneck and a printer in Bnei Brak both get a clean message the same morning.

You notice the process that takes four steps and should take one, and you fix it without being asked. You push back: "this is not important, we need X today." And every question you bring comes with your recommendation.

One thing you must bring: something you built or fixed that nobody asked you to. Tell me that story in your first message. It matters more than your CV. You have run something before: an office, a business, a project with moving parts and other people in it.

Process: short call, then a paid trial task on a real project, 2 to 4 hours. 10 to 15 hours a week. This is a freelance engagement against a cheshbonit, osek patur or murshe, not an employee position. No tik? An invoicing company solves it, happy to explain.
