About Us: ICAR Collective is a mission-driven non-profit organization accelerating trauma healing in Israel through collaboration, innovation, and a comprehensive approach to mental health. We unite experts, organizations, and stakeholders to address trauma at the population level and ensure long-term resilience in Israeli society.
Position Overview:
ICAR is looking for a project manage for its national psychoeducation initiative on mental health and trauma healing. This role is responsible for coordinating and implementing a multi-media, multi-channel campaign that brings together NGOs, public institutions, academia, and other partners to raise awareness and promote healing at the population level.
This is a full-time, hands-on implementation role. The Psychoeducation Program Manager will coordinate stakeholders, align content with expert guidance, manage timelines and deliverables, and ensure that the campaign is delivered effectively and measured rigorously. The role requires occasional availability outside standard working hours and travel across the country for events and stakeholder meetings.
- Lead the development and implementation of a national psychoeducation program focused on trauma and mental health, from initial planning through full rollout.
- Coordinate a multi-media, multi-channel campaign (e.g., digital content, community events, toolkits, webinars, partnerships with institutions), ensuring coherence and alignment across all activities.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, including NGOs, public institutions, community organizations, the tech sector, and academia.
- Facilitate regular interactions (working groups, check-ins, joint planning sessions) to foster a collaborative environment and shared accountability among diverse partners.
- Manage project plans, workstreams, budgets, and timelines to meet agreed-upon goals and deliverables efficiently and effectively.
- Work closely with ICAR’s management and Research teams to ensure the program is grounded in evidence, aligned with ICAR’s broader strategy, and responsive to field needs.
- Integrate clinical and scientific feedback from ICAR’s Medical Director, Scientific Advisory Board, and external experts to ensure that all psychoeducational materials are accurate, responsible, and accessible.
- Define and track clear KPIs (e.g., reach, engagement, changes in awareness or attitudes, partner participation) and adjust implementation plans based on data and feedback.
- Prepare concise updates, summaries, and presentations for ICAR leadership, partners, and funders, highlighting progress, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Ensure that the voices and needs of diverse communities are reflected in the program’s design and implementation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong project and time management skills, with experience managing complex workstreams, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Proven ability to coordinate and engage diverse stakeholders (e.g., NGOs, public institutions, community groups, companies, academia).
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills in both Hebrew and English; able to manage group dynamics and convey ideas clearly in writing and in person.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships across sectors and at different levels of seniority.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving, startup-like environment.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to use data and feedback to guide decisions and measure success.
- Ability to work closely with clinicians, researchers, and content experts, request and integrate their feedback, and translate it into practical, public-facing materials (without needing formal clinical training).
- Willingness to travel across Israel for meetings, events, and site visits, and to occasionally work outside standard office hours.
Desired Experience
- 4+ years of experience in collective impact, partnership management, stakeholder engagement, program management, community organizing, or related fields in Government, Industry, Academia, and/or NGOs.
- Demonstrated success in implementing and evaluating collaborative initiatives involving multiple partners.
- Experience in mental health, public health, social impact, or NGOs – an advantage.
- Academic studies in a relevant field or equivalent relevant life experience – an advantage.
What We Offer
