QA Network Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our management group!

The role includes testing complex systems and web applications deployed across on-prem, virtualized, and public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Create complex virtual, physical, cloud-based, and web application environments to test Check Point products.
• Run QA manual and automated test runs on varied environments and setups, including public cloud infrastructures and web applications.
• Create test plans for new features; meet with R&D to learn the design, follow up on test requirements, and write tests to cover full feature functionality.
• Test and validate web application functionality, performance, and security, including browser-based and API-driven flows.
• Validate product behavior in cloud networking, security, scalability, high-availability, and web application scenarios.
• Provide reliable real-time status to your manager.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 2-3 years of hands-on networking experience, with strong knowledge of application-layer protocols (HTTP/HTTPS) and experience in web application-based environments.
• Understanding of cloud networking and security concepts (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, firewalls, IAM)
• Experience in testing web applications, including REST APIs, browser-based flows, and client-server architectures.
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system.
• Experience in QA methodologies - test design, test cases, and test cycle - advantage.
