Join our Enterprise Security Group AI/ML Research team!

We uses Data Science and massive amounts of Akamai network traffic data to enhance the threat intelligence that is used in multiple Akamai products. Our customers include network operators and enterprises.

Position Overview

Akamai is transforming how enterprises protect data centers and clouds from evolving threats. We seek a Data Analysis and Quality Lead to enhance AI/ML data reliability for leading organizations. This role supervises data analysts and quality teams while collaborating with AI researchers and ML engineers. Ideal candidates have expertise in data analytics, AI validation, and security-focused solutions.

In This Role You Will Be

• Developing analytical frameworks for business requirements and AI research.
• Generating data sets that support AI modeling and validation.
• Validating AI outputs against defined metrics and security considerations.
• Monitoring live solutions for accuracy and potential anomalies.
• Collaborating with product teams to refine data needs and analysis approaches.
• Being the data and analysis focal point for research and product teams.
  
  

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or a related role within a tech or product-driven environment.
• Have experience with SQL for data analysis.
• Hold a BA/B.Sc. in industrial/information systems engineering, computer science, statistics, financial, or equivalent.
• Have a high level of curiosity, ownership, and a drive to turn data into impact.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
