QA Engineer - Computer Vision for Autonomous Drones

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with expertise in computer vision to join our team of SW and algorithm developers. You will play a key role in developing a cutting-edge product that enables drone and UAV autonomy through computer vision.

Product Focus:

• 2D/3D map-based drone navigation
• Real-time drone surroundings understanding for emergency landings and obstacle avoidance
• Fusion of computer vision and other drone sensors

Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans for new software versions
• Design tests for new software enhancements, edge cases, and software regression
• Execute tests, both offline and online
• Analyze test results
• Design and lead field tests based on Sightec’s SW and HW
• Monitor, document, and analyze system behavior during field tests and offline
• Build and utilize automation tools for system tests
• Maintain bug life cycle
• Participate in POC testing

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on QA experience
• Experience as a QA engineer in interdisciplinary systems (SW and HW)
• Proficiency in bash/python scripting for automated tests
• Experience with Linux systems, particularly on mobile processors like Nvidia Jetson
• Experience in computer vision algorithm development/implementation
