Data Analyst

A successful startup in the AI field focused on Food-Tech has developed an AI-based SaaS B2B platform for enterprise customers in the global food and beverage industry. The company works with some of the largest players in the field. Their product provides insights into consumer behavior and preferences, enabling their clients to strategically plan their development and marketing efforts based on market trends.

The platform processes billions of data points, including weekly updated menus from over 180,000 restaurants in the U.S., 14 million dishes, more than 7,000 food ingredients, and over 2 billion monthly social media interactions related to food and recipes.

The company is based in central Tel Aviv, near the light rail, and offers one remote workday per week. They have a total of 90 employees, 50 of whom are based in Israel.

The startup is stable, well-funded, and successful, having raised $21M in a Series A round.

Role Highlights:

• Join a team of two analysts, reporting to the team lead.
• Act as a mentor within the team, with a strong business-oriented mindset in addition to data-focused work.
• Participate in business meetings and engage directly with customers (customer-facing).
• Lead sprint meetings and work closely with the product and development teams.
• Handle diverse data types, including text, images, and videos, to derive insights about user behavior and emerging trends in the food and beverage industry.
• Work with R and SQL to run complex queries (prior experience with R is not required, but willingness to learn and use it is essential).

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst or Business Analyst
• Proven experience in developing data-driven strategies and adapting to changing project needs
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Accountability & Self leadership- taking full responsibility for tasks E2E, Ability to prioritize business needs
• Coherent writing, wording and expression in Hebrew and English
