Summary Of Job

The IT Support Technician requires both proven experience with technology and outstanding personal communication skills. This role also serves as second-level technical support for our Field Engineers while providing training and guidance. In addition to end-user support responsibilities, the IT Support Technician will assist with procurement and project tasks as assigned,

Key focuses:

• Troubleshoot Tier 2 Field Engineering tickets and provide guidance on Tier 1 tickets to Field Engineers
• Assist with system/user audits and software evaluations
• Complete assigned project tasks; may include working with a 3rd party vendor
• Procurement responsibilities (Monitoring inventory, ordering new equipment, expenses)
• Coordinating A/V needs for meetings
• Bulk provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts
• Administration of IT systems
  
  

• 3+ years of work experience in the Information Technology field in a support role
• Experience working in SaaS environments (G-Suite, Salesforce, etc)
• Basic knowledge of typical user connectivity issues
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and macOS
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field
• Scripting experience
• Working knowledge of Antivirus/Antispam, Security & Backup solution
