Landwer Coffee is one of Israel's largest coffee companies, specializing in the manufacture, distribution, import, and export of roasted coffee. Gat Fertilizers is a multinational manufacturer of tailor-made multi-nutrient liquid fertilizers with facilities in Israel, Spain, and Peru. The group also manages investments in other fields.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Director at Federman & Sons (Holdings) in Herzliya. The Financial Director will be responsible for financial planning, analyzing financial statements, utilizing analytical skills, overseeing finance operations, and financial reporting on a day-to-day basis. Ability to work independently, follow tasks through to completion, meet commitments, and proactively seek guidance as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Assistance with the consolidated reporting on a quarterly and yearly basis
• Assistance in closing periodic reports (monthly, quarterly and annually) for the group companies.
• Dealing with subsidiaries abroad.
• Preparation and responsibility for all payroll matters
• Responsibility for all reports and payments to pension funds and executive insurance.
• Preparation and full responsibilities on VAT reports, payments to tax and other government authorities
• Responsibility for import matters including dealing with imports agents.
• Responsibility for other operational matters such as insurances, price lists etc.
• Working closely with logistics department and assisting with daily matters
• Responsibility for the group's cash flow.
• Building a budget and actual control for the group companies.
• Responsibility for all aspects of the ERP system in the organization, including inventory, procurement, marketing modules.
• Responsibility for all inventory issues in the group including inventory counts, tracking and control.
• Dealing with external auditors and with the tax authorities.
• Carrying out regular controls on accounting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree BA in accounting – Mandatory
• Certified public accountant (CPA) – Mandatory
• 3-5 years cumulative experience as an accountant/assistant accountant.
• Previous managerial experience – Advantage
• Experience in the payroll field – Mandatory
• Excel at a high level
• Knowledge of "Kav" ERP system - Advantage
• Versatile profile with hands-on ability as well as strategic planning
• Financial Planning and Financial Reporting skills
• Experience in analyzing financial statements
• Strong analytical skills
• Expertise in finance operations
• Ability to create and interpret financial statements
• English at a high level - Mandatory
• High level of service consciousness

Main offices are in Herzliya with sub offices in North and South as well.
