We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Director to lead a team of business partners, collaborating with a key business unit to enhance Cognyte’s financial performance and business outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, strong analytical thinking, and the agility to drive real-time solutions that balance business growth and excellence with financial discipline. This is a critical role in driving change, redefining financial frameworks, introducing new subscription offering and ensuring a seamless adaptation of new business practices across the business unit

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of business partners, supporting one of the company’s core business units.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the SVP and his management team, driving business success while aligning financial strategies with company goals.
• Introducing a subscription-based model within the unit, shaping financial structures, redefining performance metrics, and ensuring business unit leaders are equipped to navigate the change.
• Continuously analyze the sales funnel, identifying key insights and potential risks to enhance decision-making.
• Oversee financial processes, including quarter-end closings, budgeting, and financial planning, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare and present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), delivering data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
• Provide strategic financial insights that influence executive decision-making and long-term planning.
• Conduct ongoing business analysis, identifying trends and delivering actionable insights to optimize corporate decisions.

It is a high-impact role that requires adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make swift, well-informed decisions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong financial acumen, expertise in structuring complex deals, and a proactive approach to driving business optimization.

For that mission you’ll need:

• An economic degree or CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in a publicly traded company.
• 3-4 years of proven experience as a Finance Director.
• Deep business and financial acumen, with the ability to model, analyze, and interpret financial data and reports.
• Experience in a SaaS company is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and guide a team to achieve high standards.
• Self-sufficiency and a proactive mindset, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-growing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex conflicts and facilitate resolutions.
