About the Role:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at ZIMARK, you will play a crucial role in our Business Development department. You will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities, driving the lead generation process, and collaborating closely with the marketing team to support demand-generation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
● Qualification: Qualify leads by understanding their needs, pain points, and business challenges, and aligning them with ZIMARK's solutions.
● Follow-Up: Conduct timely and effective follow-up on leads generated by various marketing channels.
● Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to support demand generation efforts, including participating in Account Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns.
● CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in the CRM (HubSpot).
● Reporting: Provide regular reports on lead generation and qualification activities to the Head of Growth Marketing.
● Feedback: Share insights and feedback from prospects with the marketing team to help refine messaging and targeting strategies.
● Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers within target organizations.
● Prospecting: Utilize prospecting tools and techniques to generate new qualified sales opportunities through various channels, including outbound calls, emails, and social media.
● Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients through personalized and compelling outreach efforts.
Requirements:
● 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably within a B2B environment.
● Strong understanding of lead generation and qualification processes.
● Experience with the North American market
● Native-level English speaker
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
● Proficiency in using CRM software (HubSpot experience is a plus).
● Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
● Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
● Familiarity with marketing automation tools and techniques is a plus.
● Understanding of the logistics and automation industry is a bonus.
