Video Content and Social Media Creator

We are seeking a creative and energetic video content and social media creator to join our English-language digital content team!

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to engage international audiences and to promote the Library’s vast collections and unique exhibitions and events.

Responsibilities:

*Develop the Library’s social media presence in English, with an emphasis on creating video content for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

*Create engaging content calendars that leverage different social media platforms and formats (text, images, videos).

*Liaison with the Library's culture team and other staff members to promote the NLI's public events and initiatives, particularly its English-language culture program.

*Collaborate with internal teams across the Library to curate content

*Serve as an on-camera presenter for social media content

*Craft compelling social media copy in clear and concise English.

*Develop and implement strategies to increase follower engagement and brand awareness.

*Assist the digital content team with website updates and copy in English.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree in Communications/Marketing or professional course in the field of social media/digital marketing or related areas

*Minimum 1 year of experience in social media creation

*On-camera experience in a social media environment

*Experience with video editing and creation

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

*Marketing experience is a plus

*Fluency in Hebrew is a plus.
