Senior Data Analyst

GuruShots is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team

We are a fun & social platform (App, Web) for photographers of all levels based in Israel, (owned by Zedge Inc, a US public company that owns a portfolio of leading digital consumer brands serving 44 million monthly active users across the globe)

Our platform allows users to show their photography skills and share their talent with the world by uploading their photos, joining daily photo challenges and competing with other photographers from around the world. With prizes ranging from being shown across vast social platforms, or in world famous photography magazines, to being part of REAL exhibitions in photo galleries across the world, this is the ultimate game for anyone who loves taking photos .

In this role, you will work closely with business crews and product managers to deliver insights and actionable recommendations that have a huge impact and drive strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:

⚡️ Analyze large, complex data sets representing the behavior of millions of web and app users to answer strategic and operational business questions

⚡️ Support the Product team with every new feature in defining KPIs, defining BI requests, monitoring releases, analysis, A/B testing, and optimization

⚡️ Work closely with the Business team in monitoring, analyzing, and understanding our business on a daily basis

⚡️Build dashboards and reports to facilitate company-wide awareness and understanding of KPIs.

Requirements:

💪 4+ years of analytical work experience, preferably for B2C Company

💪 Strong SQL skills with experience in querying large, complex data sets

💪 Strong Excel skills

💪 Experience working with Tableau 

💪 Experience with Snowflake - advantage

💪 Experience with Game Economy - big advantage

💪 Advanced knowledge in statistical tools and models- advantage 

💪 Ability to work independently

💪 BA/B.Sc. in Statistics / Math / Engineering/ Economy or other quantitative field
