A successful global startup in the field of Fraud Prevention, focusing on digital goods purchases that are delivered directly to the buyer (non-physical products), where there isn’t enough time to thoroughly investigate if a transaction is legitimate or fraudulent. Fraudsters are particularly attracted to these types of products.

Additionally, they provide insurance to their customers in case of fraud; they cover the losses and offer full support, thereby increasing their customers’ revenue by absorbing the fraud damages.

In 2023, their sales grew by 3.5 times, and they hold two patents in the US.

The company raised $40 million to date and are currently heading towards a Series B round! They are funded for years ahead! One of their investors is the largest insurance company in the world. They also have additional offices in the US and Georgia.

Job description: Part of a team of 4, reporting to the team leader. Conducting deep and complex analyses in SQL, as it is a data-driven company performing data analysis of the product, users, and financial transactions (excluding balances and reports).

The role includes data analysis to identify fraud, complex operational work – handling multiple tasks in a short time. Utilizing Python for analysis, on MAC. Plenty of room for advancement and leadership!

Technology stack: Pandas, Linux, MAC, AWS, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, Kubernetes, Docker, GIT, Python.

Requirements-

• BSc/BA in highly quantitative field such as mathematics / Industrial Engineering / Economics / Statistics or equivalent academic knowledge.

• Outstanding analytical & technical skills.

• Strong SQL with experience in querying large, complex data sets.

• 2 years experience with data visualization tools including Power BI.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Self-motivated and independent.

• Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommend
