QA Automation Engineer (maternity leave replacement, temporary & outsourced)

BMC is looking for a QA & Automation Engineer to join our DSOM team in Tel Aviv.

The DSOM product line includes BMC’s industry-leading Digital Services and Operation Management products. We have many interesting SaaS products, in the fields of: Predictive IT service management, Automatic discovery of inventories, intelligent operations management, and more! In this role, you will join a dynamic group in BMC developing next-generation cloud-based solutions for IT management. You will take part in setting up, maintaining, and planning SaaS CI/CD-based pipelines and exercise Scrum team agile processes.

This is a temporary position for 6 months (maternity leave replacement), and you will be employed through an outsourcing company.

In this role, you will:

• Build automation components/processes for industry-leading cloud services using Python and Robot Framework
• Implement of specific components part of different automation pipelines.
• Take part and communicate daily with remote teams and product stakeholders based on company standards.
• Collaborate with a global teams and remote management.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in a QA Automation role
• Experience in Jenkins job writing
• Experience in writing scripts for a quality automation system
• Ability to explain the process of quality-related phases within the release process of a product or a service.
• Ability to learn new products and work based on short communication to allow a short time to complete projects.
• Proficiency in English

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Python and Robot Framework
• Knowledge of using containers and/or docker
• Usage of Git
• Experience working in a large global product-based company
