Information Technology Specialist

We are searching for an IT Specialist for assistance on a research project

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain new server system crucial to the project
• Configure pipelines on the server system for efficient data processing
• Set up a database system to track samples efficiently, ensuring accurate and organized data management
• Provide ongoing support to team members on IT tools and best practices
• Communicate effectively with the university and students regarding IT-related matters

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT support or a similar role
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information
• Full-time availability starting as soon as possible
• Experience in any of the following fields is an advantage:
• DNA Data
• Bioinformatics
• Sequencing data and analysis
