What you will do

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented IT Specialist (Student Position, 60%) to join our IT team. You'll support day-to-day IT operations, help manage our SaaS and device ecosystem, and be a go-to person for employees needing technical support. This is a great opportunity for a student who wants practical, real-world experience across modern IT tools and workflows in a fast-paced AI driven tech company.

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive and high-quality technical support to internal employees
• Support HR-IT processes and employee lifecycle (onboarding/off-boarding) sync with Bob
• Manage user identities, groups, access and SSO via Okta
• Maintain and support with the Google Workspace ecosystem
• Manage and support Slack workspace configuration, channels, and integrations
• Manage company devices (Mac) using Jamf MDM (enrollment, policies, compliance)
• Support employees' use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Lovable, Provide basic guidance on models and usage
• Handle IT tickets and service requests through Jira ITSM, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation
• Maintain and optimize SaaS management process - tracking licenses, usage, and cost efficiency
• Maintain accurate inventory management of hardware and equipment (laptops, peripherals, accessories)
• Document processes, create internal guides, and help improve IT workflows
• Assist with ad-hoc IT projects as needed

• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar)
• Availability to work 60% capacity from the office on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday from 9 AM to 6 PM (with flexibility around exam periods)
• Basic skills of building and maintaining AI-generated internal applications on Claude andLovable, sync to GitHub, and deploying onto AWS hosting services
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks/tickets simultaneously
• Quick learner with genuine interest in IT operations, SaaS, and modern workplace technology
• Advanced troubleshooting skills in a MacOS environments

Nice to Have

• Prior experience or coursework related to identity/access management, device management (MDM), or IT service management
• Familiarity with any of the listed tools (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jamf, Jira, Cloudflare, bob)
• Interest in AI tools and their practical use in a business setting
