Senior QA engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior QA engineer to join our team and help us ensure the quality of our products .

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual QA methodologies, networking and docker and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. As a Senior QA engineer, you will work closely with our development team and execute test plans, create, and maintain test cases.

This role is part of the R&D organization, reporting to the QA Team Leader.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA plans and test with R&D teams.
• Create test cases according to strict requirements documents.
• Execute manual test cases, working within micro services containerized environment.
• Oversee System Integration Tests (SIT) to validate software interoperability.
• Work with all stakeholders to identify and resolve software defects. This includes prioritizing defects, and tracking the resolution progress to completion.
  
  

• At least 2 years of experience of testing complicated micro service-based software solution
• Good understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
• Experience in API testing (Postman)
• Experience working with Wireshark/Fiddler, analyzing traffic.
• Experience with chrome developer tools
• Experience in performance testing and database management
• Experience with Azure
• Experience with logs analysis (Logstash, Kibana and console logs)
• Experience working docker compose , while running local development/test environments
• Generate and execute STP and STD based on specifications, providing clear STR.
• Experience with testing WEB applications and using browser debugging tools.
• Big aadvantage: experience in QA of embedded/IoT products.
