We are seeking a Customer Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing high-quality technical support to our customers, ensuring they maximize the benefits of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cloud computing and experience in customer service.
Visual Layer is a rapidly growing startup focused on leveraging visual data analysis to unlock the potential of visual information. We are building a single access layer for all visual data that allows users to seamlessly explore, search, and organize vast amounts of unstructured images and videos with ease.
Based on the popular open-source project fastdup (300,000+ installations in only 12 months!). Visual Layer's solution leverages a proprietary graph engine that allows performing graph analytics & graph search on a very large scale data. Our innovative solutions empower businesses across various industries to harness the power of visual data.
Visual Layer is backed up by top tier US VCs Madrona & Insights Partners and has offices in Tel-Aviv, Stanford & Bangalore. Visual Layer has deep academic roots - founded by Dr. Amir Alush, Dr. Aanny Bickson and Prof. Carlos Guestrin (now in Stanford).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers via email, phone, and other digital channels or via face to face visits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our cloud-based visual data management system.
- Collaborate with the product development team to enhance user experience based on customer feedback.
- Conduct training sessions for customers to improve their understanding of our product.
- Document customer interactions and technical solutions for future reference and continuous improvement.
- Visit customer sites to support on prem installations,
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer support role, preferably in a tech or cloud-based environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, Python, Linux OS
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex customer inquiries.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and ticketing systems.
