Data Analyst - Renewable Energy

A leading renewable energy company is seeking
a Data Analyst.

Location: Central Israel.

Key Responsibilities -
Analyze performance data from Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and PV power plants to assess operational efficiency, availability, and performance metrics.
Provide data-driven insights that support decision-making and optimization strategies for BESS and PV systems.
Identify trends, anomalies, and performance bottlenecks through detailed data analysis.
Continuously monitor the performance and availability of BESS and PV sites, identifying potential issues that could impact energy generation or system reliability.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports on site performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and system uptime.
Create regular dashboards and visualizations for real-time monitoring and tracking of operational metrics.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and asset management to support data-driven decision-making.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending improvements based on data analysis results.

Bachelor’s degree in data science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
1-3 years of Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the energy sector.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel).
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Familiarity with performance monitoring platforms and SCADA systems for energy projects.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of energy markets, grid operations, and renewable energy regulations is an advantage.
Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, or AI applications in energy systems is an advantage.
