Job Description

What your job will look like

Design of precision components, modules and subsystems, focused in Mechanical design.

Responsible for the complete design process, including:

Driving requirements specification
Feasibility studies
Cost and scheduling
Conceptual and detailed design, detailed drawings, using 3D solid modeling (ProE/Creo)
Conducting various analysis, such as fluid, thermal, vibrational, and FEA modeling-advantage.
Understanding of Geometric Tolerancing (GD&T)
Detailed tolerance stack-up analysis
Hold design reviews throughout design process
Procurement of prototype parts
Prototype assembly and testing
System integration and testing
Build assembly and test procedures
Documentation release and handoff to manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications

BSc in Mechanical engineering
Experience – 5 years in mechanical design
Experienced in various fabrication methods, motion systems design and DFX.
Experience in multi-disciplinary equipment
Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
