Not Your Typical Financial Data Analyst Role

Darrow is in search of a Financial Data Analyst with analytical proficiency and technical expertise for our expanding legal data department. In our financial team. Your role will encompass identifying large-scale financial violations using Darrow's data products and pioneering new data pipelines. You'll also delve deep into financial and legal document analysis, formulate inventive intelligence collection strategies, and harness advanced technology for data extraction within the financial sector. Your multifaceted contributions will be instrumental in refining our research and production processes.

Requirements:

Demonstrated financial skills with experience in analyzing large datasets using data analysis techniques.
WEBINT / OSINT / CI / other relevant intelligence experience - a must
LL.B degree - advantage
Excellent legal-research skills - advantage
1+ year of relevant experience as a financial analyst
Proficient in English
Analytical skills
Technologically oriented
Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
Entrepreneurial and analytical mindset
Experience with leading data analysis teams - an advantage

Responsibilities:

Utilize a strong proficiency in interpreting and analyzing diverse financial databases and documents to navigate the financial realm and effectively identify potential legal violations.
Play a key role in Darrow’s Analysis core team, fusing financial understanding, intelligence gathering, data analysis, and legal research.
Translate the company’s needs into actionable data collection plans.
Locate new data sources using advanced financial and analytical tools.
Utilize advanced analytical tools to create models and generate insightful reports.
Help establish automatic methods in collaboration with Darrow’s Product and Data Engineering team.
