Job Summary & Responsibilities

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for our advanced metrology and inspection tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor technology and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of metrology equipment.
Develop innovative solutions to customer challenges and ensure optimal tool performance.
Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, marketing) to address customer needs and feedback.
Manage and resolve quality issues, including submitting DOA or RMA as needed.
Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
Travel up to 25% to customer sites as required to provide support and training.

Additional Information: The position will require 25% work on Fridays and Saturdays.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or a related field.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, including internationally.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with semiconductor metrology tools.
Familiarity with software tools used in semiconductor metrology.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
