About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Analytics team and help drive product decision-making, streamline internal workflows, and surface actionable insights across the organization. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with Product, R&D, and business teams to analyze data, build scalable processes, and support the launch of new product flows.
You'll play a key part in shaping how we define, measure, and improve our product performance. From running focused ad hoc analyses that impact product strategy to collaborating with engineers on data implementation and working with analysts to define clear reporting standards — you'll be at the center of how data becomes impact at Riskified.
You'll be leveraging your analytical skills to extract insights from complex datasets, recommend product improvements, and help us build the infrastructure needed to support scalable and automated operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally and build expertise at the intersection of data, product, and business.

What You'll Be Doing
Analyze product usage and performance to deliver actionable insights that support product strategy and design decisions
Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects to structure workflows, define data requirements, and ensure smooth execution across teams
Work with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to structure new data flows, ensure high-quality data modeling, and define scalable processes
Conduct ad hoc analyses to support decision-making and surface opportunities for optimization
Define and maintain core metrics and reporting standards that drive alignment across teams
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into effective solutions
Help build the analytical foundation for new products and features through hands-on data exploration, SQL, and dashboard scoping
Support operational excellence by identifying and resolving data quality issues and automating repetitive workflows
Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on experience working with data in an analytical, product, or operations context
Proven experience writing complex SQL queries and working with large datasets
Experience with Python or R for data exploration, analysis, and automation
Experience working with BI tools like Looker to build reports and support data accessibility
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and business context
Comfortable working in cross-functional environments with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven experience with managing projects end to end
Ability to communicate insights clearly through both visualizations and written summaries
Experience managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
