We're looking for a Marketing Automation Lead to join Mami's growth team and lead the design and execution of end-to-end customer journeys. You'll bring our customer experience vision to life - creating personalized, multi-channel flows that drive engagement, retention, and revenue, while setting the standard for marketing excellence at Mami. Your main focus will be Email, SMS, and WhatsApp flows, with opportunities to collaborate with Product, Content, and Data teams as Mami continues to scale. This is a rare opportunity to shape both the customer experience and marketing culture of an early-stage, community-driven startup.
What You’ll Do
* Take full ownership of the Marketing Automation platform - optimize templates, manage audiences, integrate data, and monitor deliverability.
* Build and manage multi-channel customer journeys across Email, SMS, and WhatsApp with personalization, triggers, and A/B testing.
* Map end-to-end journeys from sign-up to retention and win-back, including segmentation and dynamic content.
* Analyze results using GA4, attribution, cohort analysis, and LTV metrics to inform strategy.
* Lead briefs for copy and design, craft action-driven microcopy, and adapt content to target audiences.
* Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure smooth delivery and execution.

Requirements:
* Proven experience in Marketing Automation in B2C/eCommerce or Consumer Apps.
* Strong multi-channel experience (Email, SMS, WhatsApp), deliverability, and compliance with opt-in/opt-out regulations.
* Hands-on experience with ActiveTrail (mandatory) - building complex flows, advanced segmentation, and templates.
* Proficiency in GA4, UTM/attribution, A/B testing, and roadmap management.
* Data-driven & analytical, comfortable reading reports, analyzing data, and using insights to optimize flows and campaigns.
* Experienced in generating creative ideas and content that drive engagement and results.
* Highly communicative, proactive, self-driven, and comfortable collaborating across teams in a fast-moving startup environment.
