Port Office Operation Coordinator - Ashdod

Managing Coordination and synchronization of all activities of the Ashdod port office related to ZIM’s vessel and their activities in the Ashdod port.

Coordination with all the relevant external and internal interfaces related to port office activity.

A challenging job that requires availability and work around the clock on weekends and holidays.

Coordination with external interfaces Coordination with external interfaces such as the port, government

Authorities, customs authorities, ministry of transportation customers, suppliers, various service providers

Communication and coordination with zim’s vessel

Communication with every vessel that is expected to arrive at Ashdod port in the coming days,

Operation Analysis report

Preparation of current reports, data collection and preparation of operational reports

Special cargo activity

Management and pricing of the special cargo activity at Ashdod port, coordination of activity with the port, external suppliers and customers.

Preparing expected vessel

Preparing expected vessel for work include: preparation of all relevant documents, order of all expected services for the vessel

Requirements:

Academic education: Bachelor’s degree required

High skills of office tools, Excel and powerpoint

High proficiency in English language (speaking, reading and writing)

Experience in shipping industry or Experience in logistic and supply chain - advantage
