COBOL Developer

COMBLACK is hiring a COBOL Developer !

An exciting opportunity to develop and maintain core systems, take ownership of Batch processes and end-to-end overnight processing, and work across the full lifecycle, from business requirements to Production deployment.

What are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of experience in COBOL development – mandatory.
• Experience with JCL, DB2, ISPF / RDz, sequential files, SORT, and MF / AS400 environments – mandatory.
• Proven experience with critical core systems and processes on the critical path of overnight processing – mandatory.
• Advantage for experience with financial Batch systems, including GL, accounting entries, financial transactions, repayment schedules, checks / credit cards, and Masav files.
• Advantage for experience with RDz, API development, EMVS, DPT, and Copilot.
• Strong systems thinking and analytical skills.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in a complex, high-pressure environment.
