AS400 Developer

COMBLACK are looking for a COBOL AS400 Developer & Systems Analyst to join a leading financial organization.

The role involves working on a core mortgage system in a complex financial environment, combining system analysis, software development, technical troubleshooting, and ongoing system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and write functional and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain COBOL applications in an AS400 environment.
• Support QA testing processes and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in system analysis and development within large financial systems – Mandatory.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in COBOL AS400 development and system analysis – Mandatory.
• Experience writing specification documents, supporting QA processes, and resolving production issues.
