Reporting to Country Manager  with a functional line to global supply chain

Supervisory Responsibility Import & procurement manager (IC), Logistics Manager (and his team)

Inventory Leader (IC).

Roles and Responsibilities:

The primary function of the Supply Chain Manager is to oversee, manage and strategically execute all processes and controls including but not limited to customs and import/export, warehousing, transport and distribution of goods, system application and inventory management. Experienced distribution leader, hands on, comfortable running an operation through a third party and directly. Strong on numbers and process discipline. Fluent Hebrew and English

• Direct and control local logistics function to meet local laws, customs regulation, customer and company requirement.
•  Establish warehouse and transport strategies, processes, and procedures
• Set-up, manage and monitor all receipts, pick and pack, VAS and delivery to franchisees, wholesale customers and retail stores owned.
• Set-up, manage and monitor E-commerce receipt, pick and pack and delivery to end customers.
• Set-up, manage and monitor timely processing of returns
•  Implement compliant and effective import and export logistics procedures and processing to ensure highly efficient and accurate operations
• Monitor and ensure that distribution center operates a safe environment for employees and its product
• Effective and proactive communication with Sales, CS, Supply Chain, and global Operations. Strategically plan for volume forecasts of inbound and outbound. Monitor and react to changes in the forecast.
• Be a liaison between Customer Service, Allocation Team and 3PL.
• Lead, manage, and monitor key metrics such as inventory integrity, storage capacity, on-time receipt, order fill rate, and on-time and accurate delivery to all customers.
• Review and reconcile monthly invoices for 3PL and store delivery
• Assist with new store opening and handle transactions for non-saleable items
• Manage monthly and annual budgets for distribution and transportation functions and ability to conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers.
• Oversee monthly inventory cycle counting and yearly physical counts.
• Ensure you and vendors achieve published SLAs and KPIs
• Ensure workplace safety. Follow Local and company employment laws/polices.

Education Bachelor’s degree

Work Experience With minimum 10 years managing experience on logistics, distributions, 3PL operations, including freight forwarders and customs (import/export) and transportation

Preferred Skills Preferably with Retail and Wholesale Experience. Managed at least 10,000 SKU’s. Knowledge on systems and applications (WMS, ERP, MS EXCEL). 

Proven track on project and operations management. Attention to details. Proactive communication. Fluent English & Hebrew.
