System Engineer

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join the Defense Systems Factory at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and take part in the development of advanced air defense systems.

The position includes:

• Defining the system architecture and allocating requirements to subsystems

• Leading systems engineering processes throughout the project lifecycle

• Managing interfaces between subsystems, subcontractors, and development teams

• Leading system integration, verification, and validation activities

• Preparing system documentation, engineering specifications, and performance analyses

• Supporting design reviews, integration reviews, and acceptance tests

• Working with customers in Israel and abroad, including participating in technical discussions and presenting engineering solutions

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory

• M.Sc. in Systems Engineering – Advantage

• At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering of complex systems / Systems of Systems – Mandatory

• Hands-on experience in technical documentation and performance analysis – Mandatory

• Proficiency in Excel and MATLAB – Mandatory

• High level of English – Mandatory

• Willingness to travel abroad – Mandatory

• Familiarity with military systems and/or air defense systems – Significant Advantage
