Systems Engineer – Advanced DIRCM Systems (236611)

A leading defense company is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join the development of next-generation airborne protection systems for aircraft and helicopters.

The role involves working on highly complex multidisciplinary systems combining electro-optics, hardware, software, algorithms, mechanics, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define system requirements and manage traceability throughout the product lifecycle
• Lead technical design reviews and system performance analysis
• Drive system integration and testing activities with internal development teams and customers
• Work in a matrix environment with multidisciplinary teams, including Hardware, Software, Algorithms, Optics, and Mechanical Engineering
• Participate in the development and integration of advanced DIRCM systems for airborne platforms
• Translate operational needs into system-level engineering solutions

Requirements

✅ B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering

✅ 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or the development of complex multidisciplinary systems

✅ Experience leading engineering processes and working in a matrix environment

✅ Strong system-level thinking, communication, and collaboration skills

✅ Willingness to travel abroad when required
