Systems Engineer

The Space Plant within the Missile & Space Systems Group is looking for a creative Systems Engineer with original thinking skills, eager to play a key role in the Systems Engineering team of an innovative and challenging satellite communications development project.

The role includes:

• Defining and specifying system processes and system architecture.
• Leading and taking ownership of system design.
• Modeling system components and defining their interfaces.
• Leading and preparing internal and customer-facing Design Reviews.
• Collaborating with various engineering disciplines, including electronics, mechanical engineering, control systems, communications, and software, as well as subcontractors.
• Participating in system integration and verification.

What We're Looking For

• B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics – mandatory.
• M.Sc. – an advantage.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience leading system design and/or development processes for complex systems – mandatory.
• Willingness to travel abroad as needed.
• Experience developing airborne, space, or missile systems – an advantage.
• High level of English proficiency, including reading, writing, and speaking.

About the Space Plant

The Space Unit within the Missile & Space Systems Group is considered Israel's space technology center, drawing on more than 30 years of experience across the space industry.

The unit develops a wide range of satellites, including communications, surveillance, and scientific research satellites in nano and mini formats, as well as ground control stations, mission control centers, and launch vehicles.

You will join a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of aeronautical, mechanical, software, and electronics engineers, with opportunities to explore fascinating technological fields. This role offers exposure to a broad range of complex engineering challenges, all coming together at the moment of launch.
