About the role

We’re looking for a Data Product Manager to lead the product side of our data platform, reporting directly to the VP Technologies.

The role involves translating business and analytical needs into clear product requirements, data models, and prioritized initiatives for our data teams. You will ensure that every data product begins with a real business question and results in a reliable, accessible, and useful solution.

This is a central role connecting business stakeholders with engineering teams and combining product thinking, technical understanding, and hands-on work with data.

What you’ll be doing

·     Gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into clear Product Requirement Documents for dashboards, reports, and data products.

·     Designing and documenting data models and ERDs to guide the development of the company’s data warehouse.

·     Managing and prioritizing the data backlog while balancing business needs, new data sources, dashboard requests, and technical debt.

·     Working closely with Data Engineers on data models, warehouse architecture, and data processes within Microsoft Fabric.

·     Taking end-to-end ownership of reporting and dashboard requirements—from defining the business question to delivering the final output in Power BI or similar tools.

·     Reviewing and validating data products to ensure that they are accurate and address the business needs for which they were created.

·     Creating and maintaining data documentation, including business definitions, source mapping, and a shared data glossary.

What you’ll need

·     Approximately four years of experience in Data Product, BI Product, Analytics Product, or a similar role combining product and data responsibilities.

·     Experience writing product requirements and technical specifications for engineering teams.

·     A practical understanding of data-modeling concepts, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and normalization, with the ability to design or review ERDs.

·     Experience working directly with Data Engineers on data models, data warehouses, or data products.

·     Practical SQL skills and the ability to explore data and validate results independently.

·     Experience defining and reviewing reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.

·     The ability to translate complex business needs into clear and technically sound requirements.

·     Strong prioritization and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to take ownership of deliverables from definition through completion.

Nice to have

·     Previous hands-on experience as a Software Developer, Data Engineer, or Data Analyst.

·     Experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.

·     A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering and Management, or another relevant field.

·     Experience working in a financial, entrepreneurial, dynamic, and growing environment.
