Head of Information Technology

Kamada, a global publicly traded (NASDAQ) biopharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of IT to lead and manage company’s global Information Technology department. This role reports directly to the company CFO.

The ideal candidate will ensure that the company’s technology infrastructure and applications effectively support Kamada’s global strategy, objectives and goals, while complying with all relevant rules and regulations, including FDA and GMP standards.

As Head of IT, you will be managing our IT/IS/Cyber Security staffs, responsible for maintaining the functionality of all corporate information systems as well as implementing new systems and technologies, supporting the company’s overall business and operational needs.

The successful candidate will have significant IT leadership experience, solid managerial skills, and solid technical background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage company’s global Information Technology department, including IS/applications, helpdesk and infrastructure/cyber functions, consisting of over 20 team members in Israel and U.S.
• Implement advanced IT solutions and enterprise architecture to support company’s global operational and business needs.
• Manage and mitigate information security and cyber risks.
• Lead the design and implementation of IT projects within budget, scope and timelines.
• Ensure high service level of helpdesk and support staff, meeting required SLA
• Enhance and expand the use and integration of existing IT systems.
• Support company's AI strategy and implementation plans
• Update and maintain IT policies and SOPs.
• Ensure that IT operations, systems and applications comply with applicable rules and regulations.
• Plan and manage annual and multi-years IT budget and work plans.

Professional Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or another relevant field – mandatory
• Master’s degree – an advantage.
• At least 8 years of experience managing Information Technology departments.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies and environments.
• Experience in cybersecurity.
• A professional, hands-on, solution-oriented manager and team player.
• Ability to work and communicate with stakeholders and senior managers at all levels.
• Experience in the biopharma industry – an advantage.
• Fluent English- mandatory
