Director of Enterprise Applications & Data

In this senior strategic leadership role, you will take full ownership of our core business systems, application ecosystem, and enterprise data strategy, ensuring technology directly fuels operational excellence and strategic growth.

You will lead the formulation of the enterprise Data Governance policy and, together with the Head of IT, build a comprehensive IS framework based on a holistic view of the business strategy and organizational needs. The role ensures that information systems and data serve as an engine for business value creation, performance improvement, and decision support, enabling the company to achieve its business and strategic goals.

Reporting directly to the Head of IT, you will play a key role in shaping Kamada’s enterprise applications and data landscape, driving digital transformation and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• IS & Data Strategy: Formulate and lead the enterprise IS strategy in alignment with the company’s business strategy; define Data Governance policies, including data quality, data ownership, standards, and application-level security; lead the overall Data & Application Architecture; build a multi-year roadmap for systems and data.
• Core Systems Leadership: Full ownership of core business applications, including ERP, MES, QMS, LIMS, BI, and financial planning systems; ensure the systems remain aligned with evolving business needs.
• Digital Transformation: Lead organization-wide digital transformation initiatives; map, design, and improve cross-organizational End-to-End processes; lead automation of critical processes; establish process standardization and consistency across all business units.
• Data, BI & AI: Establish and lead an advanced enterprise data platform; develop advanced BI capabilities to support decision-making; lead AI solutions and embed them in business processes; to transform data into a strategic business asset.
• Integration & Architecture: Lead integration across enterprise systems; ensure reliable, consistent data flow between systems; work with cloud solutions and advanced architectures.
• People Leadership: Direct management of domain leads and indirect oversight of implementation teams; full people-management responsibility, from recruitment, development, and training through performance reviews, compensation, and terminations; member of the corporate headquarters management team; manage the unit, including budgets, work plans, goal setting and control, and participation in company management forums.
• Executive Partnership & Change Leadership: Act as a full partner to senior management in leading business initiatives; translate business needs into system solutions; lead organizational change and the adoption of new ways of working; influence decision-making at management level.
• Vendor & Budget Management: Manage software vendors and technology partners; own the application IS budget; prioritize investments based on business impact.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering & Management, Computer Science, or a related field (Mandatory).
• 8+ years of experience in Information Systems, including 3–5 years in people management (Managing managers – Advantage).
• Significant experience in enterprise ERP systems (Familiarity with Movex / Infor M3 – advantage).
• Proven track record leading large-scale system implementations, integrations, and application architectures.
• Strong background in Enterprise Data, BI, and AI solutions (Significant advantage).
• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environments (Significant advantage).
• High-level English proficiency (Mandatory)
