Finance Operations Manager

About The Position

We’re looking for a Finance Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations of a growing tech startup.

This is a unique opportunity for an early-career finance professional who is ready to step into a broad, hands-on role with significant responsibility and direct exposure to the business. You’ll work closely with the CEO and serve as the main internal point of contact for financial matters, coordinating with external finance providers, customers, vendors, and teams across the company.

The role combines financial operations, reporting, collections, payments, and cross-functional coordination, offering an opportunity to gain broad business exposure and grow your responsibilities as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate the company’s day-to-day financial operations.
• Manage customer billing, invoicing, collections, and payment follow-ups.
• Manage vendor invoices, payments, and ongoing financial communication with suppliers.
• Serve as the main point of contact for external bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting providers.
• Coordinate monthly payroll and financial closing processes and ensure all required information is accurate and delivered on time.
• Prepare and maintain ongoing financial reports, including collections, payments, expenses, and cash tracking.
• Track outstanding balances, financial commitments, and payment schedules.
• Support the CEO and management with financial reporting, data, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Work cross-functionally with different teams on finance-related matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline financial processes and workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance, finance operations, accounting, or a similar role.
• Experience working with external bookkeeping, accounting, or payroll providers.
• Good understanding of financial processes, including invoicing, collections, payments, and vendor management.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple processes and follow through from start to finish.
• Proactive, hands-on, and adaptable mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with customers, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
