Role Description-

• Serving as an Automated Test Equipment (ATE) & Software-Hardware Integration Engineer, taking responsibility for the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing software and systems for complex electronic products.
• Leading hands-on software-hardware integration, interfacing automated test benches directly with electronic boards, industrial controllers, and test instrumentation.
• Architecting and developing automated test suites, scripts, and validation tools primarily using Python, C, and LabVIEW.
• Identifying, debugging, and performing root-cause analysis on complex hardware-software integration failures and optimizing production test cycles.
• Exploring and integrating AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance test coverage, predictive failure analysis, and workflow efficiency.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Hardware Engineering, QA, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product qualification and high manufacturing yield.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or certified Practical Engineer (הנדסאי/ת) with extensive practical background – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on experience in Automated Testing (ATE) development and Software-Hardware Integration for electronic products – Mandatory
• Demonstrated programming and scripting proficiency in Python, C, or LabVIEW – Mandatory
• Strong technical background in hardware debugging, component-level troubleshooting, and working with lab test equipment (e.g., Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Signal Generators, DAQ units) – Mandatory
• Solid understanding of communication protocols and industrial interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus, Ethernet) – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience or active interest in integrating AI tools / Machine Learning algorithms for test automation and process optimization – Significant Advantage
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities, analytical thinking, and effective technical communication skills – Mandatory
