ATE Engineer

Our on-board processors (OBP) revolutionize traditional satellites into smart, software-defined units so applications can be developed and updated in real-time, creating infinite possibilities for space satellite payloads and deep space missions.

The ATE Engineer is responsible for ATE development for production line, including ATE architecture, test strategy, manufacturing and build. We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a strong background in RF, digital, and system-level product testing, and with the ability to guide technical decisions, solve complex integration challenges, and support advanced test equipment for production environments.

What will you do:

• Design and develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for RF, digital, and mixed-signal products at board and system levels.
• Lead the technical definition and implementation of test strategies in collaboration with product engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Evaluate and select test instruments, fixtures, and measurement techniques based on product specifications.
• Work with subcontractors to define parts of the ATE, integrate the ATE sub-systems and run ATP before ATE release.
• Maintain documentation for test systems, including user guides and ATE design description.

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. Practical Engineer (PE) with strong, proven experience will also be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ATE development, technical problem solving, and production line support.
• Proven expertise in both RF and digital hardware design and testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting test setups and product failures.
• Experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators) and digital scopes.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages for test automation Python – a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive alignment across multidisciplinary teams.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
