Role Description-

• Serving as an Automated Test Equipment (ATE) / Test Systems Development Engineer, taking end-to-end technical ownership over the architecture, design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of automated test stations.
• Engineering production and R&D-grade Automated Test Systems (ATE) dedicated to validating high-precision motion control systems and precision electronics throughout development, NPI, and full serial manufacturing.
• Developing automated test software, measurement routines, and data acquisition workflows (interfacing extensively with laboratory test instrumentation, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and motion controllers).
• Supporting hardware and board-level debug workflows, conducting deep-dive root cause analyses across electronic cards, sensors, and full electro-mechanical systems.
• Designing test station hardware interfaces, test fixtures, cabling harnesses, and dedicated validation boards.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Electronic Hardware R&D, Firmware, Systems Engineering, and Production lines to ensure seamless manufacturing yield, test coverage, and test cycle-time optimization.

Requirements-

• Practical Engineer (הנדסאי/ת) OR B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering from an accredited academic institution – Mandatory
• At least 4 years of proven professional experience in the design and development of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) / Automated Test Stations for production lines – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on experience developing automated testing procedures for complex electro-mechanical, hardware, or electronics products – Mandatory
• Hands-on proficiency in test automation environments, data acquisition (DAQ), and instrument communication protocols (GPIB, RS-232/485, USB, Ethernet) – Mandatory
• Strong practical diagnostic capabilities and hands-on laboratory troubleshooting skills – Mandatory
• Full fluency in Hebrew and English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
