Technical Support & IT Operations Specialist

A leading technology company operating in the defense sector is looking for a

Technical Support & IT Operations Specialist to join a professional technology environment combining application support, infrastructure support, and hands-on IT operations.

The role includes supporting technological environments throughout their full lifecycle — from setting up research and development environments to supporting systems in Production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and application support to organizational users.
• Support operating systems, endpoint devices, internal applications, and IT equipment.
• Manage users, permissions, and access to organizational systems.
• Provide ongoing administration and support of Google Workspace, including users, groups, permissions, Gmail, and Shared Drives.
• Set up and support working environments for research and development teams.
• Support technological environments from research and testing stages through Production.
• Support internal systems, servers, and organizational infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network, workstation, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Work closely with development, research, infrastructure, and information security teams.
• Document incidents, track resolution, and provide high-quality user support.
• Work according to information security procedures in a classified environment.

Requirements

• Relevant hands-on experience in Technical Support / Help Desk / IT Support gained during military service — mandatory.
• Experience managing users and permissions — mandatory.
• Experience supporting organizational applications and systems — mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace — mandatory.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and broad technical understanding.
• Strong service orientation, responsibility, organization, and ability to work independently.
