Python Automation Tech Lead

Position Overview-

• Technical Lead Automation Engineer serving as the professional anchor and architect for the automation engineering group, leading by example with a 50%+ hands-on footprint.
• Defining testing strategies, code standards, and architectural Best Practices for a highly complex, enterprise-grade distributed system.
• Partnering directly with R&D and Product teams from early design phases to evaluate feature testability, edge cases, and architectural constraints.
• Leading root-cause investigations for non-deterministic system anomalies, including timing dependencies, race conditions, and high-load performance bottlenecks.
• Owning the technical release sign-off process to ensure software deliverables meet strict stability and quality benchmarks.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Test Automation Architecture, Python, Distributed Systems, System-Level Test Strategy, Linux Environments, Root-Cause Analysis (Race Conditions, Stress Testing), Cross-Functional Technical Leadership.

Requirements-

• 10+ years of robust, hands-on experience developing automated testing suites for highly complex, integrated software or hardware systems – Mandatory
• Proven track record in a Technical Lead or Mentorship role, driving code reviews and establishing engineering methodologies within automation or QA environments – Mandatory
• Deep, production-grade programming mastery in Python – Mandatory
• Solid technical understanding of Distributed Systems architecture, multi-service environments, and how faults propagate across complex nodes – Mandatory
• Strong focus on System-Level test strategy and feature planning, with a passion for functional end-to-end coverage rather than just CI/CD infrastructure maintenance – Mandatory
• Exceptional diagnostic and debugging skills, specifically with non-deterministic issues, timing bugs, or environmental failures under high scale – Mandatory
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to articulate quality risks, system limitations, and technical gaps directly to R&D and Product management – Mandatory
• Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional
