What will you do at SuperPlay?:

We have petabytes of data, but data isn't insight. Your mission is to be the bridge between raw information and strategic action. This isn't about being a "dashboard provider" - you will be measured by the quality of insights you generate; it's about creating "aha!" moments by going beyond the "what" to uncover the "why" that drives player behavior and shapes our success.

This role is unique: our data is exceptionally clean. There is no ETL or technical pipeline maintenance. Our time is almost exclusively spent on thinking, brainstorming, learning, and researching.

In this role, you will:

• Be a strategic partner to our product, design, and leadership teams. Your job is to bring them not just answers, but better questions. You'll translate your findings into compelling, actionable recommendations that catalyze new features, better experiences, and smarter business decisions.
• Hypothesize, test, and build frameworks to understand how virtual economies thrive and how player incentives drive long-term engagement.
• Embark on deep research projects to deconstruct our most complex business questions. Your deliverable will be a compelling narrative, backed by rigorous analysis, that guides our strategic business roadmap.
• Focus on what’s important. We use modern tools (like LLMs) for brainstorming and automating the mundane. Your focus will be on the ambiguous, the complex, and the truly innovative.
  
  

• You are a first-principles thinker with an innate need to break down complex problems to their fundamental truths.
• You possess a deep-seated curiosity to understand human behavior.
• You develop strong, data-informed opinions and aren't afraid to voice them. However, you are eager to be challenged and ready to be convinced by new evidence or a better argument.
• You can effortlessly translate a complex statistical model into a clear, persuasive story for any audience, with an emphasis on C-level executives.
• You are resourceful and self-driven, comfortable navigating uncertainty and motivated to find a path forward even when the way isn't clear
  
  

• A solid understanding of experimental design and A/B testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in querying and manipulating large datasets (e.g., strong SQL skills).
• Experience using a scripting language like Python for data analysis and automation.
• Familiarity with user analytics platforms (e.g., Mixpanel).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker).
